KELLY KEELING Issues Update

January 20, 2004

Vocalist/guitarist Kelly Keeling (BATON ROUGE, BLUE MURDER, MSG, GUITAR ZEUS, JOHN NORUM) has posted the following message on his official web site:

"Howdy folks! It's been a while since I updated. I've been so busy on the road with various projects and social gatherings.

"I did a show with DOKKEN at the Palms in Las Vegas that went over rather well considering Don never showed for practice. Why should he? He knew the songs, right? Except for the new ones which we wrote out. It was a very enjoyable time.

"Next I was off to the Bay Area where I rehearsed for a few days with a BEATLES tribute band. It was with a full orchestra and two sold out nights at Bohemian Club. I played the part of Paul McCartney. What a fantastic time! 'Sergeant Peppers' played with horns. 'Strawberry Fields' played with an orchestra. On 'I Am the Walrus' the dangerous orchestra was SOO fabulous. 'Hey Jude' played with the piano . . . the closer was just phenomenal. I have a good idea of how Paul feels during the sing along of 'Hey Jude', the closer of this show. This experience cannot be explained. Anyway, there it is.

"My album will be finished during the week of my return to my studio in the country next week. I have two bass tracks to lay down, then to Germany to remix. I haven't actually done the second BEATLES show yet. My web designer Antoinette Avalon will be joining me. That is in a few hours, so I must be off to warm up the voice and mind. Happy New Year to all of ya and thanks for all the wonderful letters! I'm glad you enjoyed the CDs I have been selling through this website. The BEST one will be out on Mascot Records, released around APRIL 2004. Keep posted here for updates. It will be available worldwide at your local CD store, Tower, Target and K-mart.

"See you on the road! That reminds me. My band is rehearsing under the care of my manager Sandy Serge & Mark Waterbury. Hope all will be ready upon my return. It should be great when it's all put together. This last album is not the simplest of music to reproduce but then again, neither was the BEATLES show. Where there's a will there is a way. May all YOUR dreams come true!"
